Happy Birthday, Country!!!

Wow, it´s just interesting how people have survived in this 188-year-old section of land that is truly ours in any way. Nevertheless, we should always show respect for our land, no matter how small (112,492 km2) it is.

It´s quite great to add that in between those who show their utmost for the country´s highest, between those who train day and night to perfect their skills, between those who today posed and marched with pride at the sound of snare drums, glockenspiels, and hand cymbals... there was a guy on shorts...

Yep, that´s me...

I was part of a special squadron (cadets, if you will) and specially trained to march correctly and perform salutes with a nice-looking staff:
  1. Salute the People, where half of the squadron kneels to one side, and the other half kneels to the other side.
  2. Salute the Bride, where everybody [logically] kneels forward.
  3. Salute the Tribune, where everybody kneels to the left.

Salute the People

Overall, it was quite fantastic, but of course it had its downsides. For example, you can see two disadvantages in the picture that add up to one rock-bottom-downside:

WE WERE FREAKING DRY, FREAKING DRIPPING FROM SWEAT, AND FREAKING COOL!!!

1 week and counting...

Who would've known. Time is a misunderstood fashion, in the way that always, at some point, you want time to pass, but when you least want it to, it does. In other words, I'M A FREAKING WEEK FROM COMING BACK TO SCHOOL!!!

Oh, God, oh, God......

At least I can hope that this year's not as bugging as the last. Well, I passed these three months playing or writing, until I wrote a book, repeat, I FINISHED A WHOLE STORY!

Based on the characters from my other blog, Heroes Within.

My dad (Flickr Adal-Honduras) read it and liked it. He even thought of publishing it. Say, would you be happy if you made up a story with characters that are complete ripoffs??

NOT!

I am prepared. Two weeks ago, I got my stuff in and got pencils. I even found a nice case to put it all in. Not like these past 7 years where I had to use a blue J-World sports-bag.

It's still in great shape, but... it's 8 freaking years old...

All I can do now is wait. Wait. I can't wait for school, yet I don't want to go back. Human psychology is weird...

Life...

Turns out, I had the same grade mentioned on the last post (38%) when I was in 5th Grade. I had failed Mathematics then. Goodness, can't I put a little effort on my favorite classes?!

People don't seem to believe so...

Well, today I traded games with a friend of mine. I had a hard time going through the first levels of Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, but I managed to go through. It's a shame, though; I have to return it tomorrow, according to my pal's agreement.

This guy's decisions are as pointless as my pencil and my dad's jokes...

Recuperation test tomorrow. Woohoo, I feel so great... Boohoo!! I don't think I can! This is the hardest thing I have to go through, and there are yet more to come!! Why isn't life easy?

Life, the game, is actually quite difficult to catch...

Quakes

Man, this place reeks of quakes! Everywhere there has to be a small earthquake in or around this country. Reports have it that they have reached (in the Richter Scale) 5.1, 5.7, 5.3, 5.9...

Would somebody please calibrate those seismographs??!

I have to go for recuperation tests. I failed Civic Studies and Spanish. Yeah, yeah, I know, it's unbelievable (considering my national "heritage") and yet, here it is, a 38%.

At least, I'm better than my big sister, speaking of which...

She passed the recuperation tests from last week. I still have to go two more days before I recover my well-deserved grades.

Yeah, right. If I were ever to deserve those grades, then I wouldn't be here...

I am still worried about my country. What if those earthquakes break it apart? What would become of us? What will happen with our land? What goes better with chocolate fudge??

Well, I think you can answer the last...

B's, A's and a Great Sister

Great. Today I received good news from everybody. Turns out, I'm getting B's and A's here and there. It's like, "Darn, you're the best student I've ever had!"

Indeed...

What I can't believe is that I slept throughout the whole day. Well, of course, school can be quite rough around the edges, but I have never slept during midday.

Perhaps I should quit midnight snacks...

I talked to my big sister again (she lives in the capital), this time by webcam. Her grades are also improving. What can you say; high school isn't exactly paradise.

Hmm, I wonder what that reminds me of...

I love it when I have nothing else to write. Gives me more time to think what to write. This blog took me half an hour to finish.

Mostly because right now it's 11:19 PM!!!

It's a Crime Not to Enter A Title, But This Post Is Months Old And I Didn't Remember The Subject, So I Just Put In One Long Title Which Made It Worse.

You know, sometimes I feel really fallible, what with finals and stuff. This week is gonna be BIG!! Man, it's just like, "Hey, you ready for exams?" and just to think of it!!!...

Sometimes I just wanna get shot in the head...

Not much, huh? Well, notice the 2 CPU's...

This heap of junk popularly called personal computer is already turning out on me. I started jamming in all sorts of stuff from saved blog drafts to useless games and music (hey, I'm a blooming teen!) Well, anyways, I always get this feeling that, you know what I'm talking about, eh?

At the end it'll still be a heap of junk...

Today, my abilities in brickswork were quite outstanding (to make a long story short, I'm not quite the handyman) I handled the pickaxe as if it were a simple sledgehammer, one of those I used about 3 years ago.

People told me to imagine it was my enemy's head I was hitting...

All the same, I would like it if you'd just keep reading (nice work so far) for more interesting stuff later...

I know, I know, a lame ending, but an ending nevertheless...
