Ready 4 the 15th of September?

Well, we're off to a second Independence Day parade, and I'm not in cadet service anymore. It figures, the cadet part has been crumpled and thrown to the basket.

Instead, I am going to be IN THE BAND!!

Butt, the thing is, I'm not playing a tuba. No, not a trombone either. Nope, no trumpets. Hell, I won't even join Nick Cannon in Drumline.

 I COULD have, though.

Nope, I'm gonna play something like this:

Just picture that. With a guy. On shorts.

It's so darn easy. Hell, it's just a sideways piano played with a stick. What's the big deal?

Well, you need to actually know songs compatible with the glockenspiel to get a picture of "the big deal". And as for me, I'm a bit uncomfortable with the moving-your-hand-around-seizure-style style (as opposed to the lay-your-wrists-calmly-over-the-border-of-your-instrument style)

While we're at it, lemme just tell you that I'm playing the MOTHER glockenspiel (by "Mother" I mean "Holy moly, that's HUUUGE")
Imagine what you imagined before, only the glock is 5 times bigger and I am 5 times smaller.

So maybe that makes for an excuse as to why I haven't written lately :) but well, I still need to practice for September 15th, the day our nation escaped the grasp of the Spanish. So, to wrap it up, I'll write immediately after the parade (If I can, I'll try writing sooner. If I can.)

I hope you understand.
