YouTube's One Defect

Well, after almost a month of silence, allow me to break the ice with a question that's been nagging my mind AND my patience (yeah, I'm pretty straightforward today)

Anyway...
Has it happened to you that you're watching a video on YouTube, and when you want to skip to another part using the navigation cue, the whole bar suddenly goes white and the cue is in the middle and, like, GAAAAAAAWWWWWWDDD!!!

The whole video has to load again. From the middle.

Hate it.

I want to find out who knows about this inexplicable system bug (if you can call it THAT; you know, I prefer the term system nuisance) and why is it there, on YouTube, sucking our patience until we're dry... like a friggin Internet vampire.

I think a solution would be to sue the owner of YouTube... wait-- who the heck is the owner of YouTube?!?!?!
