Well, here we go again...

After months of either writing nonsense or no writing (and also considering our constant lack of Internet connection... after all, it's a hill we're living on) I have finally decided to write at least weekly. And then everyone can actually see REAL updates...

Look at that post, it's so like ten years ago...

Today I finally set up my backbone, fixed my senses, and started following blogs. I have an RSS feed to these two blogs:
  • The World and the Seven Seas - Adalberto Hernández Vega
  • The Inner workings of it all - Zachary Gordon Assink
I hope we get others soon, but for now, all I have are the blogs of my Dad (the Flickr guy I mentioned in some posts, not much Flickr anymore) and an ex-teacher at my school. I prefer the latter one.

It's like, soooo hilarious...

Oh, by the way,
I QUIT GYMNASTICS
I got so kicked up by the ground I just couldn't stand it and left. And so did other 6 people (I guess... but, uhhh, I don't really care)

Oh, and to close up, we had an interesting event at school this past Friday, and it's called the Folklore Day. The whole school got into groups and built some crude-looking huts (we all built them crude on purpose, so as to materialize the primitive theme of the celebration) and cooked some good local food, 'Yuca & Chicharron' being my favorite dish.

Mmmmmm, just writing this makes me hungry. It's 1:24 pm and I'm eating a simple sandwich. God, I'm so cruel to myself...

We also had a ceremony that involved Pre-K kids singing 'Conozca Honduras', a local song I'm very proud of. I also saw some competitions as to the best Native Costume (boys and girls) and best Hut (we call them Champas)
Yeah, it's actually something to look up to in Mayatan...
