A Letter to Myself

This is a letter that I sent to myself on September the 19th of 2008, when entering 7th grade. When I received my letter on May the 29th of the next year, I was a bit flawed when I read this:
Dear Adalberto:

How are you? Do you like your school? I hope so, because that's going to be your school for the rest of secondary. My advice? SURVIVE!! Try to endure 7th grade, and the rest will be piece'o cake! Try Physical Eds first. You'll have enough experience to win a soccer match, that's for sure. C'mon, you're in your best shape!!

Another class that would suit you is Literature, you know. You might also like English. All I wanna say is this: try at least for an Honor Roll Award or anything else worth the prize! You can do it!

Sincerely,

Adalberto

This letter made me contrast my expectations at the beginning of the school year and my results at the end.

To make a long story short, I didn't get Honor Roll. Well, not that I'm complaining...
